COLOSSAL RAINS

Colossal Rains features core members of Blacklisted, the Philadelphia hardcore band that helped shape a generation of heavy, emotionally driven music. Channeling Neurosis, Katatonia, and Crowbar, the band deals in towering riffs and sludge-soaked tension. Their debut, Feral Sorrow, completes a nearly two-decade circle: Blacklisted was one of the first bands to trust a teenage Will Yip in his parents' basement, and Yip produced the record for Memory Music.
